Fort Valley State University has some of the finest facilites in the Southeast. The Health and Physical Education Complex, home to both men's and women's basketball teams as well most of the volleyball matches, seats over 5,100 fans. The facility also houses classrooms, a weight room and a top notch training room. An indoor walking/jogging track is also located in the arena. An up-to-date, modern softball field is home to the Lady Wildcats team. In the fall of 2009, a brand new football stadium (10,000 seats), which will also house the new student center, will be open.
