Wildcat Growl Club Makes Beautiful Sound through Giving

To a student-athlete who has to cope with the financial realities of collegiate life, there is no better sound than that of an organization created to assist student-athletes going beyond mere lip service and actually providing help for the student. The Wildcat Growl Club is an organization established through the Fort Valley State University (FVSU) Foundation with the sole purpose of providing scholarships to current and future FVSU football players with a demonstrated need.
On Thursday (February 25th), the Wildcat Growl Club spoke with a collective voice and did precisely what the organization is charged with doing. At an on-campus ceremony, four FVSU football players were presented with scholarships from the club. The scholarships ranged from $600 to $1,000.00.
